The
place looks eerie and equally haunting. While the ruins of Cagsawa is closer to
Legazpi city, more photographed and more famous, the ruins around Santo Domingo
shows a lot of Mt. Mayon’s destructive power. Its perfect cone, its “seven
wonders of the world” tag, its beauty, time and time again tries to hide its
monstrous side. After all, this is the most active volcano in the Philippines.
